PALS Team – Placement & Learning Support
At the College of Professional Psychology, our Placement and Learning Support (PALS) Team is here to ensure you never have to navigate your journey to registration as a psychologist alone.
The PALS Team provides dedicated guidance and support to all College interns from finding a job role through to full registration as a psychologist.
How We Support You
The PALS Team offers personalised assistance with every aspect of your professional journey, including:
- Finding suitable placements that align with your goals and registration requirements.
- Navigating workplace challenges or professional issues that may arise during your time with the College.
- Responding to learning and development requests, such as secondary supervision, ensuring your training supports your individual learning needs.
- Program progression support, helping you stay on track and meet your registration goal.
- Supervisor allocation and coordination, including help with specialised supervision needs.
- General advice and guidance, no question is too big or too small.
Our PALS Team members bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, having supported hundreds of provisional psychologists to successfully complete their programs and achieve full registration. They understand the challenges and opportunities on the way to registration and provide practical, and compassionate support at every step. Whether you’re looking for placement opportunities, guidance on professional practice, or reassurance as you move through your internship, the PALS Team is here to help.
