SUMMARY:Online Information Session
DESCRIPTION:Online Information Session \nOn 4 June at 1pm to 2.30pm (AEST)\, the College will be hosting an online information session on pathways to becoming a registered psychologist in Australia. \nTo attend\, email: info@nullcopp.edu.au before 1pm\, 3 June (AEST) to be sent an invitation with the log in details to attend the online session. \nHave you finished a four-year degree in psychology? Are you looking at options for gaining registration?  \nThe final step in training to become a registered psychologist comprises an internship and/or further university studies. However\, attending a university may not suit your current lifestyle and an internship can be extremely difficult and confusing to manage on your own. The College of Professional Psychology therefore aims to provide a third option by offering guided internship programs. \nOur programs are practical\, supportive\, and flexible – and\, you can enrol at any time! \nAt this information session\, we will walk you through our programs\, talking specifically about: \n•Placement: how we support your job-seeking efforts by: \n– reviewing your resume\, \n– offering job-search techniques and strategies\, \n– providing interviewing practice and coaching. \n•Supervision: where we provide several principal supervisors (approved by the Psychology Board of Australia; PsyBA) to mentor\, guide and support you. \n•Professional Development: what our comprehensive workshops and seminars entail in our 2020 schedule. \n•Assessment Tasks: where we provide you with assistance in your preparation of all assessment tasks\, including providing you access to a range of psychometric assessments\, a library of resource material for assessment and exam preparation\, and a range of elective PsyBA-approved practice tests. \nWe offer structured internship programs that are designed to meet the requirements of the PsyBA 4+2 and 5+1 pathways to registration. \nPlease email info@nullcopp.edu.au to register your interest in this session.
