Online Information Session
On 2 February at 1pm to 2.30pm (AEST), the College will be hosting an online information session on pathways to becoming a registered psychologist in Australia.

Have you finished an approved five-year degree in psychology? Are you looking at options for gaining registration?
The final step in training to become a registered psychologist comprises an internship and/or further university studies. However, attending a university may not suit your current lifestyle and an internship can be extremely difficult and confusing to manage on your own. The College of Professional Psychology therefore aims to provide a third option by offering a guided internship program.
Our 5+1 program is practical, supportive, and flexible – and, you can enrol at any time!
At this information session, we will walk you through our program, talking specifically about:
•Placement: how we support your job-seeking efforts by:
– reviewing your resume,
– offering job-search techniques and strategies,
– providing interviewing practice and coaching.
•Supervision: where we provide several principal supervisors (approved by the Psychology Board of Australia; PsyBA) to mentor, guide and support you.
•Professional Development: what our comprehensive workshops and seminars entail in our 2023 schedule.
•Assessment Tasks: where we provide you with assistance in your preparation of all assessment tasks, including providing you access to a range of psychometric assessments, a library of resource material for assessment and exam preparation, and a range of elective PsyBA-approved practice tests.
We offer a structured internship program that are designed to meet the requirements of the PsyBA 5+1 pathway to registration.
